Vic:Shane Warne may be called to give evidence in murder trial=2

Mr Duggan said Warne wound down his car window to say hello to the group in the taxi
and they began to abuse him and throw lollies.

"He (Warne) told the defendant to get rid of them, get them out of the cab," he said.

Shahi did not apply for bail.

Magistrate Charlie Rozencwajg remanded Shahi in custody to reappear in the same court
on August 28.

Warne is in England to captain Hampshire.

The star spin-bowler, who is closing in on 700 Test wickets, will spearhead Australia's
bid to reclaim the Ashes later this year.
