SA: World's largest wine bottle plant opens in SA
The world's largest wine bottle manufacturing facility has been official opened in Adelaide.
A new $133 million furnace at ACI Glass Packaging's Adelaide plant will enable thecompany to produce more than 800,000 wine bottles a day.
ACI chief executive PETER ROBINSON says the 194 square metre furnace will produce bottlesin more than 60 shape and colour combinations.
Mr ROBINSON says ACI makes about 90 per cent of Australian and New Zealand wine bottles.
